Travel from Noida International Airport to the Ganga Expressway Set to Become Easier! YEIDA Acquires 93 Hectares of Land Link Expressway Project Gains Momentum.

The link expressway project, designed to directly connect the Noida International Airport with the Ganga Expressway, is now witnessing accelerated progress. Taking a significant step in this direction, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has acquired 93 hectares of land.

Major news has emerged regarding connectivity in Uttar Pradesh. The vision of connecting the Noida International Airport—currently under construction in Jewar—to the state’s longest expressway, the Ganga Expressway, is now on the verge of becoming a reality. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has shifted gears in the land acquisition process for this ambitious link expressway project. The Authority has successfully completed the acquisition of its designated share of 93 hectares (approximately 230 acres) of land. This initiative will not only facilitate easier access to the airport but will also significantly reduce travel time—by several hours—for journeys spanning from Western Uttar Pradesh all the way to Prayagraj.

The blueprint for this link expressway has been designed in such a way that it will facilitate a grand convergence of two major expressways. This route will commence from the Syana area of Bulandshahr (at the 44.3 km mark on the Ganga Expressway) and connect directly near Sector-21 (Film City) of the Yamuna Expressway. Approximately 20 kilometers of the entire project’s length falls under the jurisdiction of YEIDA. Once completed, residents of Meerut, Hapur, and Bulandshahr will be able to reach the Noida International Airport directly, without encountering any traffic congestion.

₹1,204 Crore Fund Allocated for Land Acquisition
To ensure that there is no shortage of land for the construction of the link expressway, the government has already released a substantial budget of ₹1,204 crore. YEIDA is tasked with acquiring approximately 740 acres of land across 16 villages, of which possession has already been taken for 230 acres. This link expressway will be constructed on land spanning a total of 56 villages, encompassing areas within both Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. With the land now secured, the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) is set to accelerate the pace of construction work.

Why is This Link Expressway Special?
This is not merely a road; it is poised to serve as a growth engine for Uttar Pradesh’s economy. The expressway will connect directly to the vicinity of the Jewar Airport and the proposed Film City, thereby unlocking new avenues for investment. Furthermore, travelers arriving from Prayagraj via the Ganga Expressway will be able to utilize this link road to reach Noida and Delhi directly. Meanwhile, land prices in the 56 villages surrounding Bulandshahr and Jewar have already begun to appreciate, promising significant benefits for local farmers and investors alike.
